What cookies do
Cookies are small values stored by your browser for a website. Session storage and local storage are related browser features. They can keep a shopping session working and remember whether an account is signed in.
Store and account functions
| Category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Shopping session | wp_woocommerce_session_* |
Associate a browser with its shopping session. |
| Bag state | woocommerce_items_in_cart, woocommerce_cart_hash |
Keep the bag interface up to date. |
| Sign-in | wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* |
Support account authentication. |
| Browser storage | Bag fragments and session hashes | Refresh store interface information between pages. |
The exact names and duration depend on the function used, the software version and your browser or sign-in choices.
Analytics and advertising
The store currently has no configured advertising pixels or Google Analytics tags. Optional order-source attribution is disabled. If optional tracking is introduced, this information and any relevant privacy choices will be updated.
Your choices
You can inspect, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking store or sign-in cookies can prevent a bag from persisting or an account from staying signed in. Deleting cookies does not delete order records held by the store.
